Granada Park is tucked away in between residential streets, making it a peaceful place for an early morning walk. Supplying two ponds, several large fields and a playground the park can get busy, especially in the afternoons. You can spot dog training, soccer camps, kids’ birthdays and picnics happening here. To visit, use this maps address: 6505 N 20th St, Phoenix, AZ 85016.

If the paved sidewalk is followed, you can easily make a big loop or figure eight in your walk. Depending on the time of day you go, your dogs will easily find shade amongst the trees on the West side of the park. However, if it’s summer we still suggest going in the early morning to beat the heat. Note: the ponds are not clean for your dog to swim in.

If the weather permits (Winter-Spring), our favorite activity is a picnic in the grass. Several big trees supply shade where you can post up on a blanket with snacks. We recommend ordering a sandwich from the nearby Luci’s at the Orchard ahead of time for a quick drive-thru pickup.
