When is comes to dining with your dog in Phoenix, there are not many outdoor patios you can boast about being truly shaded. Joyride Taco House is one of the exceptions. Their dog friendly patio is covered by several large (we’re talking large and in charge) trees and misters making it a cozy spot to dine both in the summer and winter.
Ziggy and Korra love Joyride for their friendliness and speed in which they bring out the dog water bowls. They are also fans of an occasional corn chip hitting the ground.

The restaurant offers easy dog access from the parking lot. Just be sure to put your name down for a table at the front entrance first as this popular spot typically has a small wait during busy hours. We highly recommend the weekday happy hour from 2-6pm! Treat your dog to a chip while you enjoy $2.50 and $3.50 tacos.

Central Avenue is home to a cluster of Upward Projects eateries. If Mexican food isn’t your top pick, you might find luck at Postino, Windsor or Federal Pizza within walking distance. If you have a sweet tooth following your meal and you want to take your dog on a short stroll, cross Central Avenue and head to Churn. After dinner hours there is typically a line out of this ice cream shop’s door and for good reason. Grab a cone or cup and enjoy your treat outside with your pup.
