Do not sleep on The Theodore, a beer and wine bar along Roosevelt Row downtown Phoenix. Ziggy and Korra are frequent AZ Wilderness visitors. We decided to switch it up this time and walk down the street to check out this less-crowded bottle shop at 110 E Roosevelt St ste c, Phoenix, AZ 85004.
The patio was spacious and cool with concrete floors. The pups were also thrilled to find out that they let friendly dogs inside! In hot summer months, this is a great spot your pup can frequent too.
While The Theodore does not serve food, they encourage you to bring in your own food to compliment their robust list of beer and wine. We grabbed a to-go order down the street and shared it on the outside patio.
By the end of our visit, one of the bartenders snuck away to surprise the dogs with some big dog cookies! (They said thank you x 10!)
All around, we love this spot for a laid back hangout with your dog. Be sure to check it out.
