Tesota: cool patio & gastronomy

Overall Dog Experience: 8/10
Dog Friendly: 8/10
Shade: 10/10
Crowd: Low

For an approachable restaurant with a dog-friendly patio, Ziggy and Korra recommend checking out Tesota. Located next to Changing Hands Bookstore on Camelback Road, Tesota features a shaded, dog-welcoming patio that’s perfect for beating the summer heat. If you can grab a seat on the side patio, it’s the coolest spot for lunch, happy hour, or dinner with your pups—fully covered with a roof overhang, concrete flooring, and refreshing misters to keep everyone comfortable.

The human menu doesn’t disappoint either. Tesota offers a well-curated selection of small plates, salads, noodles, sandwiches, and pizzas, plus a full craft cocktail bar. A few of our favorites? The Bread & Spread, Grace’s Yakisoba, White Sweet Potato, and the Mushroom Pasta. Note that their menu rotates seasonally, so items are due to change.

Since this spot isn’t advertised as a dog-friendly patio, there are no dog bowls readily available. The staff was very accommodating however, and after we were served they brought out a plastic dish with water for the pups.

Tesota can be found here: 300 W Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85013
